DKMS Africa is a non-profit organisation dedicated to giving patients with blood cancer and life-threatening blood disorders a second chance at life. Every hour, someone in South Africa is diagnosed with blood cancer or a life-threatening blood disorder. For many, a stem cell transplant is their only cure, but 70% of patients don’t have a matching donor in their family. Instead, they rely on strangers to step up and register as potential lifesavers. That’s where you come in!

Through our partnership with AfroCentric, we are making stem cell donor registration more accessible than ever at AfroCentric, Sanlam, Santam, and MiWay clinics, giving you the opportunity to join the global fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. Whether you prefer an in-person experience or the convenience of online registration, signing up has never been easier. You can now register as a stem cell donor directly at your workplace during wellness days or online, making the process seamless, convenient, and impactful.

How to register online:

• STEP 1: Fill out the online registration form and use your office address for swab kit delivery.
• STEP 2: Swab your cheeks following the instructions in the info pack.
• STEP 3: Return your swab kit by dropping it in the designated box at your office clinic or waiting for courier collection.
• STEP 4: You're added to the stem cell registry as a potential donor!
