How is DKMS funded?

DKMS is a non-profit organisation and therefore relies on monetary donations to cover donor recruitment costs. The cost of the registration for one potential donor is R800. Our operations and administrative costs are paid out of a reimbursement fee we receive for further testing of donors (once they are identified as a potential match) and for the stem cell donation itself. We are committed to working efficiently and at the highest professional level and undertake an annual financial audit.

There are so many ways to get involved and support our mission.
From joining the donor registry and supporting patients to volunteering or fundraising, there are many ways to be part of our life-saving mission.
